10 Great Books about Redemption

Spread the love

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

The Easter season is a at its heart a story of redemption.

The theme of redemption isn’t a new one, obviously, but it is a popular one. Redemption stories cross religious and genre boundaries to become one of our universal truths. Thus, in honor of this Easter season I have compiled 10 of my favorite stories about redemption. These stories come from different genres and are all quite different. However they each carry the important message of redemption.

Now I purposefully did not include overtly Christian books in the above list.

I wanted to illustrate that the idea of redemption is universal. However I would be remiss if I did not take the chance to highlight the eternal redemption offered by Jesus Christ. Therefore I offer three bonus titles.
